I am trying to make parallel columns in Word in order make a libretto:  left column in French, for example, and the right column in English.

I have watched the demos and followed their advice which doesn't work.  Their documents show a measurement bar at top with page breaks in it and all that.  My Word document does not. 

What should I do to for columns when the Word document does not match with the instructions?
